In Seven-Card Stud, players try to win by forming the best five-card hand possible out of the seven-card deck. The deck has two to seven players, each with a different set of cards. Aces are high cards, while 2s are low. A kicker is used to break ties. In the same way, two-to-seven players can have identical hands in a hand.

When playing Seven-Card Stud, players must know how to distinguish between high and low hands.
